This is an amazing, and perhaps most balanced overview, of the Lebanese civil war. Robert Fisk does a tremendous job of covering the conflict, and with great detail. Minus some obvious untrue statements and information, perhaps inserted for political reasons, this is one of the greatest books I've ever read and should be required reading in all Arab school curriculums.
