Chronicle To Books Gregor the Overlander Box Set (Underland Chronicles #1-4)

This is my review for the whole series. There are 5 books and they are all equally wonderful. I bought this series about 3 years ago, but never read them. They just sat on my shelf. Every time I looked at the back, it just didn't draw my interest. I'm not sure why, but I just do not enjoy books that take place underground (City of Ember, Tunnels, etc.). The fact that this takes place underground initially turned me off. However, I decided to give it a try, and I am very glad that I did. The story is very exciting, and all the books were very difficult to put down. The new world is an exciting and interesting place (although at times it is a bit illogical).

My one concern with the book is that even though it is billed for 11-12 year olds, it does seem to have a lot of killing and dying. I think you'd have to be a mature 12 year old to read it. There are also some other serious themes that may be difficult for young readers. Overall, though, I highly recommend this series. It hooked me from the start, and kept me interested the whole time. Be warned: You really have to read the whole series as it's one continous story. The good news is that it is all written!

Criticize Of Books Gregor the Overlander Box Set (Underland Chronicles #1-4)
Magical and dark and powerful. I first read this series when I was eleven (the same age as Gregor). And I've read it every single year since, for the past eight years. I love Children's books. There's this sense of real honesty and talent in them - they aren't trying to pander to a teenager-y desire or adult quota. It isn't about how sexy it can get or how grotesque. It's just about the story. And though the first book started out as a simple fantasy adventure, by the time I got to the last

I think this is a great series, but, at the end, I was a crying mess for, well, I'm not gonna tell you. But I tell you this, it's not the person who was thought to be dead, then came back alive.

I rated the fantasy fiction novel "Gregor the Overlander" by Suzanne Collins four stars. This novel is about a boy named Gregor who falls into an air duct with his baby sister Boots landing them in the Underland. Gregor and his sister are found and taken to a castle in a city called Regalia. He later discovers he is mentioned in a prophecy called the "Prophecy of Gray". The prophecy tells about a quest and the result of the quest is the uncertain fate of the Underland. My overall impression of

Beautiful

I rate the fantasy novel, Gregor the Overlander, by Suzanne Collins, three stars. Gregor the Overlander is about a 10 year old boy and his little sister Boots (2). They fall into the Underland through a vent in the laundry room in there apartment building. Gregors father has been missing for about two years now and while in the Underland Gregor discovers that his father had fallen and been captured by rats and he can't escape...on his own. Gregor, Boots, and some of his Underland friends go on

really need to to re-read this series. I read this when I was a lot younger and I remember loving it but my strongest memory is it being really really sad at times like worse than in other books somehow. I really want to see if my views sadness ect. will change after having read so many other books in the meantime.
