Fun storyBesides being an entertaining book, I found myself comparing the status of women during the era of the book with current times. Thanks for your research, Denise!

I appreciate the historical accuracy of Domning's books and this book was no exception. She gave a very accurate accounting of how minor noblewomen were treated as pawns during this time period as well as how they looked upon themselves. I thought King John was a jerk. With all the sneakiness and manipulation going on behind the scenes, the bloody history of England should come as no surprise.Although I didn't care for Lady Amicia's attitude it was all she had left after everything was taken

not bad, predictable and a little light on plot. but a good quick read

Great Medieval story! I've enjoyed the series. Ami and Michel's story did not disappoint. It was a great addition to the series. I look forward to reading more stories by Denise.
